Mike Richmond has recorded with Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Stan Getz, Milt Jackson, Joe Henderson, Gil Evans, Thad Jones-Mel Lewis, and numerous others.
His book, "Modern Walking Bass Technique" (Ped Xing Music) is used in over three hundred schools and universities internationally. New York University awarded him "Teacher of the Year" in '94.
