Foundation Purposes
The purposes of the Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation are:- To provide the general public with an awareness of different styles of jazz, focusing on performances by musicians with Arkansas connections;
- To provide a basis for educational experiences for the local professional and student jazz musicians, and the larger listening community;
- To provide a basis for historical review of jazz performers and performances in Arkansas.
