Bitsy Mullins

Bitsy is a native of Pine Bluff and a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. A premiere trumpet player, he has been featured with Randy Brooks, Charlie Spivak, Buddy Rich, Ray McKinley, Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey, Tex Beneke, Buddy Morrow and Claude Thornhill. With the Dorseys he played a TV series for Jackie Gleason. Subsequently, he worked behind many great performers for 20 years in Las Vegas, touring at one time with Patti Page in South Africa. He is retired and living in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
