1994 Candidates

Betty Fowler

As a piano player and band leader, Betty Fowler has worked with some of the greats of show business including Bob Hope and Sammy Davis, Jr. A pioneering performer, she won the title "Miss Arkansas" and carried her grace and charm into the television studio where she influenced thousands of Arkansas children. In addition to 24 years as music director for the Miss Arkansas Pageant, she also was a program director on KATV and KARK-TV in Little Rock. Betty is still active as a teacher and performer with her own group based in Little Rock.
