  • Oct 2 - Saxophonist Herman Green with Buck Powell on piano, Joe Vick on bass, and Dave Rogers at the drums. 8 pm, Cover $5.

  • Oct 9 - Astral Project. Advanced tickets available at the Afterthought and Copitol Keyboard on September 11. Tickets $10 general admission. [Press release]

  • Oct 16 - Dave Rogers Trio with Chris Parker on piano, Joe Vick on bass and Dave Rogers at the drums. 8 PM, $5 cover.

  • Oct 23 - Guitarist Ed Smith with Buck Powell on piano, Joe Vick on bass, and Dave Rogers at the drums. 8 PM, $5 cover.

  • Oct 30 - Monday Jazz Jam and Showcase. 8 PM, Jammers $1, audience $3 cover.
November 2000

  • Nov 6 - Guitarist Dempsy Wright, $5 cover.

  • Nov 13 - Guitarist Mark Elf. Advance tickets available September 25th. Sponsored by Starr's Guitars (501) 372-1234.

  • Nov 20 - Pianist Bill Harris from Washington D.C. Joe Vick on bass, Dave Rogers on drums. Tickets $10.

  • Nov 27 - Monday Jazz Jam and Showcase. 8 PM, Jammers $1, audience $3 cover.
December 2000

  • Dec 4 - Monday Jazz Messengers featuring Andy Wright on saxophone, Anthony Williams on trombone, Jeremy Launius on trumpet, Buck Powell on piano, Joe Cripps on bass, and Dave Rogers at the drums. 8 PM, $5 cover.

  • Dec 11 - Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame, featuring tributes to Art Porter Jr. and Louis Jordan. Call (501) 228-9999 for info.

  • Dec 18 - Monday Jazz Jam and Showcase. 8 PM, Jammers $1, audience $3 cover.
Note: Performances may require seating persons at tables where space is available. All Monday Jazz Project events are co-sponsored by The AfterThought, The Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation and the Little Rock Hilton. Players planning to sit in on jam nights should sign up in the AfterThought foyer.
