July 2000

  • July 3 - No Monday Jazz. The AfterThought is closed.

  • July 10 - John Puckett Trio. Cover $5.

  • July 17 - Infirmary Road Quartet. Cover $5.

  • July 24 - Guitarist Tonk Edwards with Buck Powell on piano, Joe Vick on Bass, and Dave Rogers at the drums.

  • July 31 - Jam Session. Cover $3 / $1 for jam players.

August 2000

  • Aug 7 - Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame. Will include dinner and show. Tickets $25.00

  • Aug 14 - Afinke Machine (5 member steel drum band).

  • Aug 21 - Jam Showcase / alternative date for Hall of Fame.

  • Aug 28 - Jam Session. Cover $3 / $1 for jam players.

September 2000

  • Sep 11 - Saxophonist Herman Green, $5 cover.

  • Sep 18 - Vocalist Sissy Shane Brown, $5 cover.

  • Sep 25 - Jam Session, $3 cover, $1 musicians.
Note: Performances may require seating persons at tables where space is available. All Monday Jazz Project events are co-sponsored by The AfterThought, The Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation and the Little Rock Hilton. Players planning to sit in on jam nights should sign up in the AfterThought foyer.
