  • 11 - pianist, Bill Harris. Tickets $10 available at Capitol Keyboard and the AfterThought.

  • 18 - guitarist, Calvin Newborn. $5 cover.

  • 25 - Jam Session, $3. No charge for participating musicians.
February 1999

  • 1 - Tom Cox Trio, $5.

  • 8 - The Odie Burris Quartet, $5.

  • 15 - guitarist, Tonk Edwards, $5.

  • 25 - Jam Session, $3.
March 1999

  • 1 - Charles Thomas Trio with Buck Powell, bass and Brian Brown, drums. 8 pm, Cover $5.

  • 8 - Guitarist Byron Atkins w/ Saxophonist Barry McVinney. 8 pm, Tickets $5.

  • 15 - Charles Thomas Trio with Joe Vick, bass and Dave Rogers, drums. 8 PM, $5 cover.

  • 22 - From Memphis, vocalist Mark 'Dr Scat' Weiss. 8 PM, $5 cover.

  • 29 - Monday Jazz Jam and Showcase. 8 PM, $3 cover.
Note: Performances may require seating persons at tables where space is available. All Monday Jazz Project events are co-sponsored by The AfterThought, The Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation and the Legacy Hotel. Players planning to sit in on jam nights should sign up in the AfterThought foyer.
